The rules for using Rap AI — your account, credits and plans, who owns the videos you make, and what you may and may not create
Effective date: 2026-10-24.
About these Terms
These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and Rap AI ("we", "us"). They apply whenever you use the website at https://rapaivideogenerator.com or any part of the Rap AI service. When you sign in or start using Rap AI, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
The service
Rap AI turns your photos into short meme videos. You upload one or two photos, pick a rap or song template such as Hotel Lobby, Burning Bridges or Bulin 47, and we return a clip of roughly 15 seconds that carries the template's sound. You can then download it as an MP4 file.
The videos are made by third-party AI models, currently MiniMax models that we reach through the provider KIE. We do not run these models ourselves. The templates, models and settings on offer may change over time.
Your account and age limits
To use Rap AI you sign in with a Google account. At the moment only personal Google accounts (@gmail.com addresses) are supported. Give accurate details when you sign in, and keep your Google account safe, because anyone who controls it can reach your Rap AI account.
Buying credits or a plan requires you to be 18 or older. Users aged 13 to 17 may use Rap AI only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, and any purchase must be made by that adult. Rap AI is not meant for children under 13.
Credits and plans
Each video you generate costs credits. The cost of a template is shown before you press the generate button. You can get credits in these ways:
- Credit packs. A one-time purchase that adds a fixed number of credits.
- Subscriptions. A plan billed monthly, or yearly where we offer that option, which adds a new allowance of credits for each month of the plan.
- Promotional credits. We may hand out free promotional or reward credits from time to time. Signing up does not by itself come with free video credits.
How long credits last. Paid credits never expire, whether they came from a credit pack or from any monthly allowance of a plan. Credits you have not used stay in your balance when a plan ends. Promotional or reward credits follow the expiry shown when we grant them, have no cash value, and once they lapse they are not reinstated.
When you spend credits, the ones that expire first are used first. Current prices are listed on our pricing page and at checkout. A price change only affects later purchases and renewals, never credits you already own.
Renewing and cancelling a plan
A plan renews by itself at the end of every billing period. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, which open the billing portal run by Stripe. After you cancel, the plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for; a yearly plan keeps adding its monthly allowance until its prepaid year runs out. Cancelling does not by itself refund any payment you have made.
Refunds
The full rules are in our Refund Policy. The short version:
- The 7-day refund rule. You can ask for a refund of any single payment within 7 days of it, as long as you have used no more than 10% of the credits that payment covers. The payment can be a credit pack, a first subscription payment or a renewal, and each one can be refunded once. For a pack, the 10% is measured against the pack. For a monthly payment it is that month's allowance, and for a yearly payment it is one month's allowance. All credits you spend count, reward credits included; credits handed back after a failed generation do not. If we approve, you get 90% of the amount you paid, and the rest covers payment fees.
- How to ask. Refunds work by email only; there is no self-service button. Write from the email on your account to the support address on our contact page and use the subject line "Refund Request". You will hear from us within 5 business days. An approved refund usually lands on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Charges made in error. If you were charged twice or by mistake, we refund the whole amount after we confirm it. An extra charge for upgrading partway through a billing period is looked at individually.
- What happens after a refund. A refunded subscription stops right away and the unused credits from that payment are taken back. A refunded pack loses its unused credits along with any paid benefits it gave you.
- What we do not refund. Free or reward credits, payments already under a dispute, accounts linked to fraud or abuse or closed for breaking these Terms, and any request outside these rules, except where the law requires a refund.
When a generation fails because of a technical fault, on our side or at a model provider, the credits held for it go back to your balance on their own. A video that finishes normally still uses its credits even if you hoped for a different look, because AI output changes from run to run.
These Terms do not take away the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Payment disputes
Please talk to us first if a charge looks wrong, before you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank. While a dispute is open, we remove or freeze the credits from that payment and pause any paid features it unlocked. If the dispute ends in our favour, we check the payment and give back the credits and access that still apply. If it ends in your favour, we treat the payment as fully refunded. Any payment that is refunded or reversed some other way also has its credits taken back.
Payment processing
Stripe processes our payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe, so we never see or keep your full card number. Stripe's own terms also apply when you pay.
Ownership of your photos and videos
The photos you upload stay yours. To the extent the law allows, you also own the videos Rap AI makes for you. That ownership does not cover parts you did not create, such as the template's music, the original meme or another person's likeness (see "Acceptable use" below).
To run the service, you give us a limited permission to store, process and send what you submit, including photos and any text you add. This lets us pass the needed inputs and results to our video generation and content safety providers, and show your uploads and videos back to you in your account. The permission exists only so we can provide the service to you. We do not use your photos or videos in ads or marketing, and we take no wider rights to them unless you choose to make something public.
Content you choose to share. If we offer a way to share a video publicly and you use it, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, show and distribute that video, with any details you chose to display, on the Rap AI website for as long as it stays shared. Anyone who visits can watch a shared video and may save a copy. You can withdraw it at any time, and our permission ends then, apart from cached copies that browsers or our delivery network may hold for up to 5 minutes. We cannot pull back copies that visitors saved while the video was public. Sharing is always your choice, we review shared items before they go live, and we may decline or remove any of them.
Acceptable use
Rap AI does not allow adult or NSFW material, or any harmful or unlawful use. These rules cover your photos, any text you add, the videos you generate and anything you share through the service. They apply to real people and to fictional, drawn, animated or AI-made subjects alike.
Do not use Rap AI to:
- Make, upload or spread pornography, sexual acts, sexualised nudity, or other sexually explicit or exploitative material.
- Make or promote child sexual abuse material, or sexualise anyone under 18 in any way. Fictional and AI-made depictions count, and so do attempts to get around our safety checks.
- Make intimate images of someone without their consent, sexual deepfakes, or intimate or defamatory videos of a real person who has not clearly agreed.
- Promote terrorism, stir up violence, celebrate gore or extreme violence, or encourage self-harm. Context matters: reporting or teaching about these topics is not the same as urging people to cause harm.
- Spread hatred, discrimination or violence against protected groups, or harass, bully, stalk or threaten anyone.
- Commit fraud, phishing or impersonation, share malware or harmful links, or knowingly make misleading content that could cause public harm.
- Break someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights. You need the rights and permissions for every photo you upload and for the way you use the result.
- Upload a photo of another identifiable person without their consent, or share a video of an identifiable person publicly without their consent. We do not accept public submissions that show minors.
- Dodge our safety checks, break into systems or accounts, disrupt the service, or scrape, automate or resell it without our permission.
- Do anything unlawful, including breaking sanctions or export-control rules.
Content safety
Automatic checks
We run safety checks when you submit a request and again before a finished video is handed to you. Text is filtered, and AI tools review images and samples of video. The checks look for adult content and other harmful categories such as violence, hate, harassment and self-harm, plus signs of clearly malicious intent. If a request or result is blocked, or a required check cannot finish, it is not delivered.
Automatic checks are not perfect. They can flag the wrong thing or miss something. Video checks may look at samples rather than every frame or every sound. A passed check does not prove anyone's age, consent, rights or claims, and you stay responsible for following these Terms.
Human review and reports
Our team may look at suspected breaches, public submissions and reports by hand, and may ask you for context or proof of consent or rights. To report content, or to tell us a safety check got it wrong, contact us with the details of the request. We look at every report and choose a suitable response; sending one does not mean a blocked request will be approved.
Warnings and enforcement
For a first breach we may show a content safety warning in the app or contact you. Repeated breaches can lead to a temporary suspension. Serious breaches can lead to the account being closed at once and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities. What we do depends on the facts, how serious the conduct is and the account's history, and a person may decide it; we do not promise a fixed number of strikes or a set timetable.
To enforce these rules we may refuse a request, hold back a result, remove content or limit access. Requests rejected before generation starts cost no credits. If our checks block a finished result, the credits held for it go back to your balance. These credit returns are separate from the refund rules above and from your statutory rights.
No guaranteed results
Video generation relies on outside AI providers. We cannot promise that a given photo will give a certain result, that every generation will succeed, or that providers will always be online. Quality, likeness, style and speed can vary for reasons we do not control.
No warranty
Rap AI is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will run without breaks or errors, or that a video will match what you had in mind.
Limits on our liability
These Terms do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not let us limit, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, Rap AI and the people who run it are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, business or data, that arise from your use of the service. For any claim about the service, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms removes protections you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
Updates to these Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using Rap AI after a change, you accept the updated Terms. Each payment is judged under the credit and refund terms that applied on the day you made it.
