About this policy

This Cookie Policy lists the cookies Rap AI sets on rapaivideogenerator.com and explains what each one does. We only list cookies that our code can actually set.

Our cookies fall into a few groups. Some keep you signed in or remember choices you made, such as your language. One stores your answer in Cookie settings. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity are set only if we have switched that tool on. Two more support a referral or reward programme and are set only if such a programme is running and you take part. We do not use advertising, targeting or social media cookies, and we never sell cookie data.

The cookies we use

CookieWhat it doesType
Sign-in session cookieKeeps you logged in as you move between pages. It is set by our authentication system.Strictly necessary
rapai_consentStores whether you picked Accept all or Reject all in Cookie settings. It holds only that choice, when you made it and a version number. It is created only when you make a choice, and lasts one year.Strictly necessary
localeRemembers which language you prefer. The site is in English for now.Functional
rapai-auth-hintA harmless flag that stops the top menu from flickering while your real sign-in loads. It is not a login credential and cannot sign anyone in.Functional
sidebar_stateRemembers whether you left the dashboard sidebar open or closed.Functional
_gaGoogle Analytics, if enabled. Tells visits from different people apart so we can count visitors and see which pages they view. Lasts up to two years.Analytics
_ga_<ID>Google Analytics, if enabled. Keeps track of your current visit. Lasts up to two years.Analytics
_clckMicrosoft Clarity, if enabled. Recognises a returning visitor so we can see how pages are used and where people get stuck. Lasts one year.Analytics
_clskMicrosoft Clarity, if enabled. Groups the pages you look at during one visit. Lasts one day.Analytics
reward_referralRemembers which invite link brought you to the site, so the person who invited you can be credited. It holds only the 8-character invite code and an expiry time, and our server signs it so it cannot be changed. It is set only if you open an invite link while signed out, and lasts 30 days.Referral
_reward_didA random ID for this browser, signed by our server. We use it only for the fairness limits of a reward programme, such as stopping one browser from claiming the same reward across many accounts. It says nothing about you or your device and is never used for ads, analytics or tracking you across sites. It is set only if you use a reward feature, and lasts one year.Referral

Those are all the cookies set on rapaivideogenerator.com. When their scripts load, Google and Microsoft may also set cookies on their own domains; their privacy policies cover those.

Both referral cookies are HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read them, and both are signed by our server, so neither you nor anyone else can alter what they contain. Neither is set unless you open an invite link or use a reward feature.

If you delete reward_referral, we can no longer tell who invited you, so that invitation reward cannot be credited. Deleting _reward_did does not stop you using Rap AI, and it does not lift any limit tied to your account or network.

Our reward system does not calculate a browser fingerprint from your hardware or browser settings. Instead, _reward_did holds a random value our server issues and signs. Clearing it simply gives your browser a new random value; limits based on your account or network stay in place.

Strictly necessary cookies

The sign-in session cookie is strictly necessary. Without it, we cannot keep you logged in, so it cannot be switched off inside the service.

We also treat rapai_consent as strictly necessary. It only records the cookie choice you asked us to remember, and it is never created unless you make that choice in Cookie settings.

Functional cookies

The locale, rapai-auth-hint and sidebar_state cookies make the site easier to use, but Rap AI still works without them. You can block or clear them in your browser. The only effect is small, such as the sidebar forgetting how you left it.

Analytics cookies

If we turn on Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, we use them to learn how people use the site, for example which pages they visit, how they move around and where things go wrong. Google Analytics records page views and similar events. Clarity captures how people interact with a page, for instance where they click, scroll or move the mouse. Google and Microsoft process this data for us, and we use it only to improve Rap AI, never for advertising.

When analytics is switched on, it runs by default. To turn it off, open Cookie settings in the site footer and choose Reject all; analytics scripts stop loading from your next page view. Choosing Accept all in the same place switches them back on. If you clear the rapai_consent cookie, the default applies again. If no analytics tool is switched on, the Cookie settings link does not appear, because there is nothing to opt out of.

Controlling cookies

Most browsers let you see, delete and block cookies in their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to Rap AI.
